Lady Crusaders down Lady Jays in volleyball

Sometimes, there’s nothing like playing your biggest rival to bring out the best in you.

That was the case for the Helias volleyball team Thursday night, as the Lady Crusaders put together an impressive defensive effort in their 25-22, 20-25, 25-18 win over Jefferson City at Fleming Fieldhouse.

“That’s probably one of the best defensive efforts we’ve had all year,” Helias coach David Harris said.
