Camdenton woman injured in accident

A Camdenton woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday on Missouri 5, north of Missouri 135, in Morgan County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Saturn Vue, driven southbound by Kirsti L. Reynolds, 21, failed to negotiate a turn and traveled off the left side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned.

Reynolds was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

She was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.

A Jefferson City woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:55 a.m. Wednesday, on Route M on Taos overpass, in Cole County.

The patrol reported a 2010 Freightliner, driven eastbound by Gary A. Meeks, 60, Madison, Mo., attempted to cross Route M and failed to yield to a 2001 Dodge Caravan, driven northbound by Amy Wieberg, 39, Jefferson City. The Wieberg vehicle struck the Meeks vehicle on the passenger side.

Wieberg, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to St. Mary's Health Center.

The patrol said Meeks was wearing a seat belt.
