50 JC musicians selected to district bands

More than 50 musicians from the Jefferson City High School band program auditioned for the Central District Missouri Music Educators’ Association District Concert Band and Jazz Band.

Those selected will perform at the District Concert Festival in November and the District Jazz Festival in January.

Students who qualified for the district honors bands also are eligible to audition for the all-state bands in December.
