Chaminade tops Jays in Shootout

On an early morning for all involved, the Chaminade Red Devils did in the Jefferson City Jays with an early score Saturday.

Opening the second day of the Art Firley Shootout with a 9 a.m. contest, the Red Devils scored at approximately 9:05 a.m. and went on to a 3-0 victory.

Chaminade, ranked eighth in the state, used a similar formula against the 15th-ranked Jays as it did in a win over top-ranked Rockhurst a day before.
