There’s something to be said for getting runners on base.

But there’s something more to be said when those runners score.

Jefferson City outhit Willard 11-10, but the Lady Jays got the key hits when they needed them as they advanced to the state quarterfinals with a 9-3 win Wednesday at Lincoln Field.
