Jays begin second season Friday night at Troy

It’s hard to fathom how Jefferson City’s game Friday night at Troy will have more meaning than last week’s 33-30 double overtime win against Rockhurst.

But that’s how the playoff system works in Missouri.

The top-ranked Jays begin their second season when they open district play at Troy. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
