‘You can make a difference’
Saturday, October 8, 2011
Set for Sunday is Jefferson City’s annual CROP Walk, a campaign against world hunger, which also benefits the Samaritan Center.
Area religious groups, individuals and students at Lincoln University — as a part of Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty, an international organization — will participate in the 3.3-mile walk from the Lincoln campus through the downtown area.
