School district suspects pills were from home

Jefferson City public school officials now believe a student may have brought some prescription drugs to Simonsen 9th Grade Center on Tuesday, causing students to become ill after taking the unidentified pills.

The investigation is continuing, officials said.

Two females and one male student apparently became ill at different times of the school day Tuesday.
