Jays, Lady Jays, Lady Crusaders take cross country titles

CAMDENTON, Mo. - Things couldn't have gone much better for the Jefferson City cross country teams Saturday, as the Jays and Lady Jays each took first place in the Gold Division at the Camdenton Invitational.

The Jays finished with 50 points. Branson was second with 92 points and Nixa was third with 104 points. There were 11 schools in the division.

The Lady Jays had 47 points. Branson was second with 54 points in the eight-team girls division.

The Helias Lady Crusaders took first in the Purple Division at the Camdenton Invitational, while the Crusaders finished second. Blair Oaks was second and Vienna was third.

Tristan Hensley of School of the Osage took first in the boys Purple Division to help lead the Indians to a first-place finish. The Vienna boys placed third.
