Your Opinion: Perspective on JFK and LBJ

Dear Editor:

It was good to see Bob Boldt back in print again. Just when you thought those on the far left were gone, here comes Bob.

I want to be fair to Bob who makes some good points regarding the death of JFK, about the part about LBJ.

Paul Krassner's thoughts I believe came from inside the inner circle of the Kennedy camp. These two men were not very close as president and vice president. This was not a great secret but Texas was necessary at election time.

I believe the more important question is how important was the then-governor of Texas to all concerned and why was the fact sealed up. There were persons who had the answers to these questions; most are dead, some are not. I can tell you as a distant relative of the Johnson family this is so.

Bob, good to see you back in print again.
