A Jefferson City delegation spent several days in Germany last month on a visit to the Capital City's partner city.

Former Mayor John Landwehr said he and 25 others, including two former City Council members, visited Munchberg, pronounced "Minch-berg," in mid-September, taking part in a city festival known as Stadtfest.

Munchberg became the city's partner city in 2004 to allow the flow of culture, ideas and people between the two areas of the world that are bonded together through their ancestors.
