LEBANON, Ohio (AP) - Authorities say a man has been arrested in Missouri on murder warrant in the death of a woman whose body was discovered near a state park in southwest Ohio.
A Warren County sheriff's release said Tuesday that U.S. marshals arrested 42-year-old Richard A. Snyder on the warrant after he checked into a Veterans Administration hospital in St. Louis on Monday.
Warren County authorities had been looking for Snyder since hunters found the body of 29-year-old Nicole Barry of Columbus on Thanksgiving Day near the Horseman's Campground at Caesar Creek State Park. The park is about 40 miles northeast of Cincinnati.
The sheriff's office has said that Barry was Snyder's girlfriend.
Authorities expect to return Snyder to Warren County possibly later this week. They have not said how Barry died.
