The Jefferson City wrestling team opens its season today with a dual against Lebanon.
But ask Jays head coach Phil Cagle, and today’s dual is just an extension of practice. An extension that begins today and lasts for two months.
“We’re practicing to wrestle for 10 days,” Cagle said. “The district tournament and the state tournament. Everything else is practice up until then.”
