Just in time for holiday baking, Jefferson City has a new kitchen supply store.

Kitchen Collection is one of several dozen businesses granted new city businesses licenses in September and October. It opened in Capital Mall on Oct. 28.

Sandy Kaiser, an assistant manager, said the store offers "pretty well almost anything you'd want for your kitchen. Lot of gadgets. People love their kitchen gadgets."

The business carries all the usual kitchen items, from pots and pans to woks and roasters. It offers spices, sauces, popcorn accessories, plus "As Seen on TV" items such as the Big Top Cookie and Gyro Bowl.

Besides Hamilton Beach, Presto and other popular brands, the store also carries Food Network star products from Rachael Ray and Paula Deen.
