Lady Crusaders aiming to continue last season’s success

The Helias Lady Crusaders were consistently inconsistent last year. Until it really mattered.

“All of a sudden, it just kicked in,” Helias coach Doug Light said as the Lady Crusaders prepared to open the basketball season

tonight at Rolla against the Lady Bulldogs.

The Lady Crusaders didn’t win two games in a row until February last year.

“We’d take one step forward, then one back,” Light said. “And we kept doing that for much of the season.”
