Lincoln women total 102 points in win over Harris Stowe State

The Lincoln Blue Tigers put up a pair of 51s Friday night and rolled to a 102-45 victory against Harris-Stowe in the Best Western Plus Capital Inn Classic at Jason Gym in Jefferson City.

Led by hot shooting from close range, the game was never in doubt as Lincoln improved to 3-0 on the season. It was the first time Lincoln scored 100 or more points since the 1996-97 season, also against Harris-Stowe.

Pittsburg State defeated Maryville 80-67 in the first game Friday.

The event concludes today with Pittsburg State taking on Harris-Stowe at 1 p.m., followed by Lincoln and Maryville at 3 p.m.
