SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Benoit Pouliot scored the deciding goal in the fifth round of the shootout, and the Boston Bruins rallied from two different two-goal deficits for their 10th straight win, a 4-3 victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday night.

Tyler Seguin had a goal and assist, Brad Marchand and Zdeno Chara also scored, and Tim Thomas finished with 31 saves for Boston (13-7-0) in the first meeting between the teams since Milan Lucic bowled over Sabres goalie Ryan Miller 11 days ago. Miller sustained a concussion on the play, and is still sidelined.

The Sabres didn't go after Lucic at the time, but Paul Gaustad and Lucic squared off just 83 seconds into this one, with Lucic landing several rights to Gaustad's head and body.

It is the Bruins' first 10-game winning streak since Dec. 12 to Jan. 1, 2009.

SHARKS 1, BLACKHAWKS 0

Antti Niemi made 34 saves against his former team for his first shutout of the season and Jason Demers broke a scoreless tie late in the second period with his first goal to lead the Sharks to a victory over Chicago.

Niemi was tested often as San Jose was sluggish at the start and also helped kill off a power play late in the third period with a toe save against Jonathan Toews to give the Sharks their fourth straight win and sixth in the past seven games.

Niemi, who helped Chicago knock out San Jose on the way to winning the Stanley Cup in 2010, got the best of his former team in his 14th career shutout. He improved to 4-1 and has allowed only 10 goals in five games against the Blackhawks since signing with the Sharks before last season.
