The suspect in a Saturday morning robbery in Jefferson City has been charged.
Sara Smith, age 27, of the 300 block of Jackson Street, and she has been charged with 1st Degree Robbery with $100,000 bail.
On Saturday at approximately 5:15 a.m., officers of the Jefferson City Police Department were dispatched to 810 Stadium, Breaktime Convenience Store for a robbery that just occurred.
Officers responded to the scene and contacted the clerk, who stated a white female, Smith, wearing a black hoodie, demanded money from the cash register.
She did not display a weapon and was given an undisclosed amount of money from the drawer.
Smith then left the business and was later arrested.
