Jefferson City police surrounded an apartment after receiving a report that a possible suspect from an early morning robbery might be inside.
Officers investigated shortly before 7 a.m. today after being called to an apartment building in the 800 block of East Elm Street. They took a man into custody on suspicion that he might be connected to the holdup of a taxi driver reported earlier.
