3 men die in Pulaski County crash

DIXON, Mo. (AP) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says three southwest Missouri men died in a two-car collision.

The patrol says the accident occurred Friday about five miles south of Dixon in Pulaski County.

Twenty-six-year-old Bradley Shackleford and 24-year-old James J. Stewart, both of Dixon, died at the scene of the accident on Missouri 28. And 26-year-old Chad McMeekan, also of Dixon, a passenger in Shackleford's car, died later at a Columbia hospital.

The patrol says Shackleford was driving north when his car crossed the center line and hit Stewart's car nearly head-on. Shackleford's car caught fire. Stewart's car overturned several times and also caught fire.
