Suspect arrested in convenience store holdup

A 27-year old Jefferson City woman has been arrested in connection with a convenience store robbery, early Saturday morning.

According to police reports, at approximately 5:15 a.m., Saturday, police officers were dispatched to 810 Stadium, Breaktime Convenience Store, for a robbery that just occurred.

Officers responded to the scene and contacted the clerk, who stated a white female wearing a black hoodie demanded money from the cash register.

She did not display a weapon, and was given an undisclosed amount of money from the drawer.

She then left the business in an unknown direction of travel.

Authorities said the name of the female suspect will not be released until formal charges are filed.

They did say the suspect could be facing a charge of second-degree robbery.

Mr. Earl S. Music, I don't know exactly, but these white female criminals in their black hoodies surely had to come from somewhere else. They can't be locals. That's just not possible! There must be some heck-hole way up north; maybe it's in Minnesohta or North Dakohta. It's certainly farther north than Garrison Keilor's legendary Lake Woebegone. It's a good thing that great music man, Mr. Lawrence Welk, didn't live to see the day when white women put on black hoodies and drove their minivans south to rob convenience stores for thrills. What a sad day this must be for all those proud Norwegians.

My question is, who are u, Tonto, to tell anybody to go anywhere??! This is not Your city, or your ancestors city! This is a nation of people from many nations, not just where your ancestors came from. I'm appalled that we still have this ignorance amongst us. If you read the article, free of preconceived views of crimes and who commits them, you would obviously see that the White girl in the Black hoodie, is From jefferson city! Also, no one, unless they are native american or mexican, should tell anyone that they should 'go back to where they came from'! That is the most ignorant statement ever spoken by racist, biggoted people, who obviously don't know the history of this nation, much less this state!

Anlysis of words in context is not your kind of thing, Martin, I can see that. Seriously, if you want to get technical about who got here first, the so-called native Americans and their genetic close relatives the mexicans walked here from Asia some time between 15,000 and 10,000 years ago. That's just based on the available archeological evidence and reported by the kind of experts that interpret that sort of thing. The Chinese reportedly explored the world including North America in the early 1400's and the Italian explorer Christopher Columbus arrived in the Caribbean in 1492 on behalf of Spain. The French and English first arrived in North America in the 1500's.

Yes. Twice. White female. Jefferson city. I went to belair with that girl. If its the same girl I just read about in the most recent update of this story, she is from here, born and raised, and to say she must be from some where else, because she wears black hoodies and robbed stores. Crime is everywhere, committed by all race, color, creed, or ethnic background. It was ignorant for him to say that, and to accept this as good behavior or speech is just as ignorant.
