WARDSVILLE, Mo. - When the Blair Oaks Falcons and Higginsville Huskers meet today in the Class 2 state semifinals, the determining factor could be as simple as which team executes better.
That's because the teams will share a couple of striking similarities when they get together at 1:30 p.m. at the Falcon Athletic Complex.
The first one comes when listing the weapons on offense.
"We're almost mirror images of each other," Blair Oaks coach Brad Drehle said. "We're very similar in we've got a good running back and quarterback standing back there, and we've got some receivers who can catch it. It will be interesting to see what they do with us."
The next similarity comes in the pace of play.
