Comets face tough opener

Fatima’s run through the Class 1 soccer playoffs has earned the Comets a Final Four berth for the first time in program history. Now the road only gets tougher.

Fatima takes on undefeated and No. 1-ranked Springfield Catholic in the state semifinals at 2 p.m. today at Blue Springs High School. While the Comets get set to face the stiffest of tests, Fatima coach Kirby Keth and his team are just enjoying the ride.
