BOIS D'ARC, Mo. (AP) - A southwest Missouri woman has died in a collision of her car and a freight train at a rural crossing.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday on a farm road west of Bois D'Arc (BOH-dark) in Greene County.
The patrol says that 68-year-old Helen Weatherford, of Bois D'Arc, was killed after she drove across the tracks into the path of a locomotive pulling a coal train. The patrol says the crossing is marked only with a sign.
