Autopsy rules out foul play in Florida woman's death

LAKE OZARK, Mo. (AP) - An autopsy has ruled out foul play in the death of a Florida woman whose body was found near a central Missouri elementary school.

Lake Ozark police say 49-year-old Faith Hope McDonald, of Jasper, Fla., was found dead in woods Monday near Mills Elementary School. The school is located near Bagnell Dam on the Lake of the Ozarks.

KSPR-TV reports (http://bit.ly/rGES2h) that an autopsy performed Tuesday shows the death was brought on by a pre-existing medical condition. Toxicology reports are expected to be available in six to eight weeks.

School district official Tony Hermann says children at Mills Elementary were kept inside during recess while the scene was investigated Monday. Hermann says McDonald had no known connection to the school.
