Callaway County awarded grant to assess health care needs

FULTON, Mo. — The Callaway County Health Department has received an $80,000 federal grant to develop a plan to improve health care in the county and perhaps create a health-service center for needy people.

The grant is one of 129 awarded this year nationwide by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The one-year planning grant will be guided by the Callaway Dental Coalition, Missouri Primary Care Association and Ray & Associates.
