The Helias Crusaders were ready to play Tuesday night.

But the weather didn’t cooperate.

“They were upset they didn’t get to play,” Helias coach Chuck Register said as the Crusaders had a one-day delay for their Class 2 soccer sectional game against the Warrensburg Tigers. “The field is going to be a lot better, we don’t need anybody to get hurt because of a wet field.”

The Crusaders (18-6-2) and Tigers (20-4-1) will now meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the 179 Soccer Park in Jefferson City.
