The Fatima Comets finished third Saturday while the Lady Comets were 13th in the Class 2 Cross Country Championships at the Oak Hills Golf Center.
Fatima and Kansas City: St. Pius X both finished with 143 team points on the boys side, but the Comets lost out on the tiebreaker with the sixth-place runner.
Three Comets earned all-state honors.
