Blair Oaks accomplishes cross country goals

Saturday couldn’t have gone much better for the Blair Oaks cross country teams.

The Lady Falcons took home a state trophy with a fourth-place team finish as Emily Cumpton earned all-state honors, while Brett Voss did the same in the boys race at the Class 2 Cross Country Championships at the Oak Hills Golf Center.

“I’m very proud,” Blair Oaks coach Marc Keys said. “It’s just a great day. We achieved our goals. It’s nice to see all the smiling faces.”
