Auxvasse alderman faces drug charge

An Auxvasse alderman has been arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Department, the office, along with the MUSTANG drug task force, executed a narcotics search warrant Friday at 508 S. Elm St. in Auvasse.

George “Trey” Baumgartner, 30, was arrested as a result of the search warrant and charged with distribution of a controlled substance, meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
