Woman injured in wreck
Jefferson City police and fire departments responded Wednesday to an accident at the Midwest Petroleum Phillips 66 station on Ellis Blvd. The incident started at the intersection of Ellis Boulevard and Christy Drive and ended when the van crashed into a gas pump.

A Jefferson City woman was treated for moderate injuries after striking a vehicle and two gas pumps Tuesday morning in a crash on Ellis Boulevard.
According to police reports, the accident occurred at 11:50 a.m.
Kellee Roche, 25, Jefferson City, was stopped on the ramp from northbound U.S. 54 to Ellis when Sueda Lopez, 67, Jefferson City, also on the northbound ramp, struck the passenger side of Roche’s vehicle.
Lopez then continued eastbound across Ellis where her vehicle left the road and went onto the lot of Midwest Petroleum Phillips 66, 301 Ellis Blvd. Lopez’s vehicle struck two fuel pumps before coming to a stop.
Roche had no apparent injuries.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.

BREAKING NEWS! Hwy 54 is an even numbered highway, thus it is EAST and WEST, not "northbound". "Can't you just read the sign" (song lyrics).

100% correct fish. The whole of highway 54 is east/west ,however, that section of highway does travel in a north/south direction, well more like a NE/SW direction, according to a compass. Semantics.
