For years, the Jefferson City Area Veterans Council has hosted a Veterans Day ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda.
This year, it's been moved to the American Legion's Roscoe Enloe Post 5, 1423 Tanner Bridge Road, at 11 a.m.
"The group that typically reserves the Capitol did not do so early enough," explained Wanda Seeney, spokeswoman for the state Office of Administration, in an e-mail. "As a result, another group was able to reserve instead."
