Project awarded to resurface sections of Missouri 89

At its monthly meeting Wednesday, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded a project to resurface two sections of Missouri 89 in Osage County.

The work includes resurfacing nearly 20 miles of 89 from Missouri 100 in Chamois to U.S. 50 and about seven miles of the highway from U.S. 50 to Route E.

Additional paving along the right of way will take place in Chamois. The city is contributing to the cost of that work.
