Man indicted again in gas station trash bin fire

The Cole County Grand Jury this week indicted a Jefferson City man for the second time in connection with an intentionally set fire on the city's east side.

Christopher Henson, 38, 3711 Randall Drive, was indicted on one count of knowingly burning or exploding.

Charges were first brought against him last October and dismissed in May.

According to Police Department reports, officers were dispatched to a trash bin fire at the Break Time Convenience Store, 1907 E. McCarty St.

During the investigation, it was determined the fire was suspicious, and a resident living nearby, Henson, was questioned. When surveillance video later linked Henson to the fire, he was arrested.
