Trailing 17-14 in the final minute Wednesday night, the Helias Crusaders were facing a second-and-10 at the Carthage Tiger 45.

There was no time to waste as senior quarterback Aaron Vossen took the snap and worked his way through his receivers out in their patterns.

“I just read it and took what they were giving us,” Vossen said.
