Falcons show off offense in regional win

CLARKSVILLE — It took awhile to shift into gear, but the high octane offenses of Blair Oaks and Clopton/Elsberry finally showed up Wednesday night.

And while Clopton/Elsberry quarterback Scott Kroeger was as good — or better —than advertised, Blair Oaks was the winner in a 48-32 shootout.

The teams combined for 65 second-half points in the Class 2 regional contest after Clopton/Elsberry went into halftime with an 8-7 lead.
