On Wednesday's pivotal play, the senior checked through his receivers before finding Andrew Stiles near the sideline. Stiles then juked the lone Carthage defender before sprinting the rest of the way for a 45-yard score.
"Aaron hangs in there, he gets hit over and over and he always is ready for the next play," Helias head coach Phil Pitts said.
Vossen is playing his best football of the season. He is 46-of-67 passing for 600 yards and six touchdowns in the last two games.
