Dear Editor:
I read with interest Mr. Haslag's letter concerning Obama's successes and I thought how unfair, so I tried to find his successes. The economy sure isn't one. He promised no more then 8 percent unemployment. His "shovel ready" projects didn't work. His bailout of Wall Street isn't doing so well. The "Green Energy" companies that his Department of Energy invested taxpayer money in, were going to supply thousands of jobs, are one by one filing bankruptcy or the jobs are overseas.
Haslag did talk about Libya and Gadhafi. Obama chose not to be the lead nation in this war. Yet we are to see this as a Obama success. This administration backs a rebel force that dragged a wounded man through the streets and executed him then put him on display and Haslag calls that a success.
The interim government has already announced Libya will be governed by Sharia Law. There is 80,000 surface-to-air missiles missing, where is the success. Obama and his administration back the" freedom fighters" in Egypt also and now the army is attacking and firing on Christians.
We are leaving Iraq on the agreement made by Bush. However Obama is going to leave them unable to protect themselves. I wish that Obama had been successful but the results are not there.
My God see us through the Emperor Obama era.
