Tipton to host Santa Fe

The state playoffs have not been kind to the Tipton Cardinals in years past.

They aim to reverse that trend beginning tonight when they take on Santa Fe in a Class 1 Regional game. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. in Tipton.

The Cardinals (10-0) haven’t dropped a regular season game since a 34-20 loss to Versailles on Sept. 1, 2006. That’s a string of 59 consecutive victories.
