For years, one obstacle has stood in the way of grand plans coming to realization at the Missouri State Penitentiary - money.
The MSP Redevelopment Commission on Tuesday congratulated the MSP Action Team area of the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce Transformation agenda on its research.
Part of the action team's report to the state commission was the potential 10-year, half-cent city sales tax for economic development, which will be voted on Monday by the City Council.
