The Jefferson City High School/Simonsen 9th Grade speech and debate team dominated the Parkway West Tournament this weekend.
The varsity team and the novice team won first place in the overall sweepstakes of their respective tournaments. The combined team also won first place in the combined sweepstakes.
The varsity Lincoln-Douglas Debate squad swept the finals.
