The district title came down to one play.
Last Thursday at Bolivar, the Helias Crusaders trailed 19-15 with a little more than a minute to play. A drive had stalled at the Liberator 18 and the Crusaders were faced with a fourth-and-12 situation.
“We were prepared for that moment,” Helias coach Phil Pitts said.
