KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Kansas City police are looking for thieves who stole an estimated $12,000 worth of copper wiring and other metal items from a department radio tower.

The Kansas City Star reports a police officer checking the tower in the south-central part of the city over the weekend found a chain used to keep the gate shut had been cut.
