With the completion of the Pat Jones Pedestrian and Bicycle Lane, there seems to be a growing interest in getting out on two wheels to enjoy the great outdoors.
It's a low-impact way to burn calories (a 150-pound person can burn up to 200 calories in a 30-minute leisurely ride, a 250-pound person can burn up to 350 calories in the same time frame).
And with gas prices rising, and expected to rise higher, cycling is an economical way to get from here to there.
