OKLAHOMA CITY - Kelly Fick threw seven scoreless innings Saturday to help Missouri to a 2-1 win over the top-seeded Texas Longhorns in an elimination game of the Big 12 Tournament.
Missouri (27-31) will play for the conference title at 1 p.m. today against second-seeded Texas A&M (40-18). It's the Tigers' fourth Big 12 Tournament title game as Missouri is the first No. 8 seed to advance to the championship game.
Fick (Helias High School) pitched the game of the season to put the Tigers in the title game.
