College Track: Neuenswander qualifies

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana University pole valulter Vera Neuenswander qualified for the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships after earning a top-12 mark during preliminary competition Thursday night.

Neuenswander (Jefferson City High School) cleared 13-1 1 /2 to tie for the lead. The outdoor championships are scheduled for June 8-11 at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
