Jefferson City pools prepare for June 1 opening

Jefferson City public pools open on June 1, and officials at the Parks and Recreation Department hope the crowds continue to grow.
At the Ellis Porter/Riverside Pool, the facility will be open from 12-5 p.m., Monday through Friday and 12-6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Regular admission is $2.50 for those 17 and younger and $3 for those 18 and older.
At the Memorial Park Family Aquatic Center, hours will be from 12-7 p.m. every day of the week. Admission is $4 for those 17 and younger $5 for those 18 and older.
