MoDOT meetings attract varied groups

Mid-Missouri’s second week of the state Transportation Department’s “open-house-style” meetings — to explain the proposal to cut back operating expenses — begins Monday with a meeting in Jefferson City’s Lewis and Clark Middle School cafeteria.

Last week’s Mid-Missouri sessions met with only moderate public reactions, department officials said Friday.
