The Helias program begins at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Cathedral.

Jefferson City’s starts at 7 p.m. in Adkins Stadium unless weather forces the program to move into the Fleming Fieldhouse.

Public schools Superintendent Brian Mitchell said earlier this month the traditional Friday night graduation program was moved to Sunday “to give families more of a chance to visit and celebrate.”

The Sunday date has been scheduled since last year.

By JC having it at 7 on Sunday night it actually hurts those relatives coming from out of town because they have to turn around and go back home because they have to work on Monday.
