Baseball District title game rescheduled again

Maybe the third time will be the charm.

The Class 4 District 10 Baseball Tournament title game between the Helias Crusaders (15-7) and Lebanon Yellowjackets (19-10) is now scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Camdenton.

The game was postponed both Thursday and Friday due to wet weather. The rain was expected to continue Friday night, with the chance of showers decreasing through the day today.

Helias, the No. 2 seed, rallied to beat sixth-seeded Camdenton 3-2 in the semifinals Wednesday. Lebanon, the fourth seed, defeated top-seeded Jefferson City 2-0 in its semifinal.

The Helias-Lebanon winner advances to Tuesday’s sectional game at Wentzville Timberland, which upset top-seeded and No. 1-ranked Rock Bridge in the District 9 title game. Tuesday’s game time has yet to be determined.
